The position of VP, Global Strategy Director will lead global strategy development within a global strategic consultancy hub. This individual helps to deliver media effectiveness and innovation at scale. This role requires a strategic leader who is resourceful, resilient, and organized. Working closely with the other team members based in NYC, this leader will be required to liase with 25+ local markets to deliver excellence and lead expert practice in media communications.
* Develop global media strategies for global power brands. * Deploy the global strategies to inform development of local market media plans and provide support to local markets, to deliver excellence on behalf of the business. * Guide local market media planning and encourage adoption of the global strategy. * Develop a deep understanding of local market nuances, including category and consumer insights. * Lead the quick and robust delivery of all ad-hoc client questions and briefs. * Effectively manage projects and resources, to consistently meet internal and client timelines. * Develop global implications from local market competitive and post campaign analysis reports. * Lead creative integration; develop brand tool-kits and guidelines. * Identify and promote best practices, driving collaboration to ensure learnings and best practices are applied across the broader team. * Oversee contributions/development of the global strategy team.
