Provides quality billing service and support to clients on a daily basis, including account set-up and maintenance, fee calculation and billing, research and applying of payments, and special projects or tasks related to verification, validation or reconciliation of billing agreements, billing instructions, or billing system configurations. Most work is performed on the personal computer using the billing application, workflow tool, report repositories, and spreadsheets. The candidate must be able to read a billing record or instruction and conclude whether to update an account, make a bill, apply a payment or perform a review by inputting data into the relevant system or log. In addition, the candidate must respond to customer inquiries, investigate and correct errors, and communicate any problems or issues to management. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
