BI Reporting Specialist will be responsible for evaluating business systems and end user requirements, formulate reports that parallel the corporations overall business strategies, create reports in Solver BI360 reporting & Dashboard modules, participate in the selection of additional analytical tools, and have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within operational and financial reporting functions.

  • Partner with Senior management team, finance, and operations to develop Business Intelligence capability for capturing data to automate the internal and external reporting.
  • Develop, expand, and improve the business intelligence and reporting repository.
  • Recommend & implement solutions to internal client problems and requests.
  • Provide day-to-day support of existing reporting applications.
  • Attend routine meetings to discuss end-users ideas on ways to improve the designs and capabilities of reports.
  • Work with the technology team to ensure transactional data is clean, consistent, and achieving reporting capabilities.
  • Work with technology management to prioritize tasks.
  • Achieve tasks within defined time-frame and within budget.
  • Delivering complex and time critical reporting projects
  • Responsible for delivering robust, resilient and secure solutions
  • Reconcile all work to assure quality and accuracy of output.
  • Other duties as required
  • Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience with reporting and analysis tools like Microsoft Reporting Services, Microsoft Analysis Services, PowerPivot, or Excel pivot tables.
  • 7+ years of experience with MS Office Products and relational databases and writing queries preferably for Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with Multidimensional Database (MDDB/MOLAP) tools
  • Must be flexible and strong at multi-tasking.
  • Posses excellent interpersonal and people skills (listening, coaching, facilitating, tact/diplomacy, employee relations, motivation, team building) in order to partner with key internal colleagues.
  • Information Technology Healthcare background is a plus

  • Significant SSRS skills
  • SQL Server
  • Some ETL tool experience including SSIS
  • Multi-dimensional database modeling
  • Power BI
  • Experience working closely IT development teams
  • Possesses effective influencing and negotiating skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
