A successful Manufacturing Engineer will do the following:
Manage Engineering Change Notices for new products from creation to final approval
Operate within Company's quality system to produce documentation such as process validations, equipment qualifications, dynamic control plans, inspection plans and standard operating procedures
Operate within 'New Product Process Devleopment [NPPD], to build robust processes through involvement in 'Design for Manufacturability' and 'Lean Manufacturing' initiatives
Create and develop individual qualification and validation protocol and report
Orchestrating DFMA reviews to provide input to design firms and design engineers
Collaborating with cross-functional product development teams including project managers, optical engineers, mechanical engineering, electrical engineers, software engineers, quality engineers, regulatory specialists, clinical specialists, marketers, buyers, and others
Development and maintenance of manufacturing work instructions, equipment instructions, and other documents that require quality management system controls
Designing and documenting manufacturing cells using tools such as value stream maps, balance charts, and line layout diagrams
A successful Manufacturing Engineer will have the following:
2-5 years of experience
Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree
Medical device experience
Experience with electronics/PCBs, capital equipment, automation is nice to have
