Are you a passionate, dedicated and a motivated Training/EducationManager looking for a new challenge? The goal of the Training/Education Manager, Renal Care Solutions is to drivethe growth of Sales Representatives within the Minimally Invasive Therapies Group, Renal Care Solutions field sales organization by enhancing their commercial capabilities including, and beyond,product and clinical knowledge through executing world-class selling skills andsales development initiatives and programs. Theincumbent will work closely with leaders from Field Sales, including the VP ofSales, First and Second Line Managers, and Sales Representatives, as well asRCS Marketing, Medical Affairs, R&D, and Human Resources functions. Workingdirectly with these key stakeholders, this individual will oversee the designand implementation of RCS product, clinical, and procedural knowledge tosupport Sales Representatives across the MITG / RCS Field Sales organization inline with the strategic business priorities, new hire training, and productlaunch training and education.

A Day in the Life
  • Align curricula creation and implementation to the following organizational groups: New Hires, Current Sellers, Sales Leaders, and Distributors, if applicable
  • Use gap analysis discussions with Marketing and Sales to develop programs that build new capabilities to address identified gaps
  • Support Global Sales Development Council, aligning efforts to needs/gaps determined by this group, helping to standardize best practices, curriculum and metrics to infuse regional growth
  • Execute on New Product Launch Excellence, driving alignment between global/regional stakeholders (Sales Training/Marketing/Sales/Medical Affairs)
  • Partner with Regional RCS groups to support global Train-the-Trainer (TTT) initiatives to design and deploy new curricula to maximize content standardization and efficiencies to deliver robust commercial solutions
  • Partner closely with global Advanced Commercial Development and Sales Training Pillars in Commercial Capabilities to support evolving events as needed.
  • Execute on thecreation and deployment of initiatives to advance commercial capabilities of sales representatives
  • Partner with Training Operations to designand develop this global curriculum, and work with Regional Sales Training/Marketingto deliver to regional customers
  • Continually lead the sharing of content and knowledge between US RCS,GBU and regions to create a globally common and consistent commercial trainingpathway
  • Collaborateacross the Matrix with Marketing/ R&D/Med Affairs/Commercial Operations todetermine synergies with other training platforms, finding efficiencies
  • Ensure alltraining content is up-to-date and properly reflects selling philosophy andmodels
  • Routinely partnerwith Training Operations to ensure ongoing value of clinical curriculum, and beactively involved in the continuous improvement of training programs
  • Align with RCS Marketing on materials and programs for the existingportfolio and new product launches
  • Identify talentand find resource efficiencies by utilizing field seller/regional trainingSubject Matter Experts on curricula development and deployment where applicable

  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum of 7 years of medical device sales or marketing experience with 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Nice to Have
  • Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MA Ed, MA, orPhD)
  • 5+ years in one or more of the following functions: Clinical Training, Sales Training, Medical Education, or other relevant areas
  • 2+ years of Renal Dialysis sales or marketing experience
  • Large group facilitation experience preferred
  • Depth of commercial experience, Cross-BU preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of the field sales organization,structure, processes and culture
  • Experience with project management/project leadership,excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership/coaching skills
  • Self-motivator who can apply innovative thinking todefine solutions to business problems; solution oriented
  • Ability to build cross-functional engagement
  • High capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong track record and demonstration of results
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projectsconcurrently
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to operateindependently
  • Experience in the design of training curricula
  • Excellent influencing, interpersonal, communication,presentation and facilitation skills
  • Mastery level knowledge of clinical and sellingskills, knowledge of adult learning principles
  • Management experience preferred
  • Ability to maintain an ethical mindset and conductbusiness with integrity
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Fluent in English. Multiplelanguages preferred for Europe and other regions where it applies.
  • Ability to travel and beflexible with hours of operation
