This is an Administrative Assistant III position in a large R&D organization for Surgical Innovations, part of MITG.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Provides general administrative support to R&D Directors including preparing communications, maintaining schedules, arranging travel (domestic and international, obtaining travel visas, expense reporting, creating reports, creating presentations, supporting management staff, recording meeting minutes, and interacting with customers and visitors.
  • Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files; arranging meetings and conferences; Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to supervisor's assignment.
  • Administers inter-department or inter-unit programs or processes.
  • Some responsibilities/precipitation in project coordination, event planning, and company committee representation
  • Assist in assessing departmental administrative needs and tasks, work with department management and department administrative assistants to ensure that needs and tasks are being met.

  • Must Haves

  • High School Degree or GED
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Proficienct with MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
  • Nice to Haves
  • Bachelors degree
  • Masters degree
