Responsible for the sale of certain products or services. Duties involve direct one-to-one communication with customer or client. Performs field promotion work and develops new accounts. Demonstrates products and/ or services and provides assistance in the best application of product or services. Answers all questions concerning products or services and refers questions as necessary. May coordinate company product support (including technical engineering support) and services to ascertain customer's needs. Closes business and takes orders which may be processed by customer service. May estimate time and sales expenses expected and submit to management. Investigates product/service warranty claims to ensure resolution within marketing policies. May analyze records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred. Interprets accounts, trends, and records to management. Sells to new and present clients. Contacts prospects and explains features and merits of products or services offered, utilizing persuasive sales techniques. May work with Podiatry, EMS, Schools, Corrections and Workplace Health customers. The territory for this position will cover Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, and New Hampshire. The ideal candidate will reside within the territory.

Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of sales experience

Critical Skills

  • Proven track record of developing and executing sales plans and strategies
  • Track record of success with complex sales negotiation with a mature base of accounts and high level of revenue responsibility.
  • Proficiency in electronic Contact Management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including PPT, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills, oral and written
  • Valid driving license and clear driving record
  • Education

    4-year college degree in business or related or equivalent work experience
