Responsible for managing Pharmacists and/or Pharmacy Technicians whom compounds and dispenses medications, compounds, agents and/or other pharmaceutical supplies according to established operational and chemical procedures as prescribed by the FDA, customers, physicians, or other qualified individuals. Responsible for agent repass, recalls and expiration dates. Responsible for double blinded operations and emergency unblinding of patients as part of clinical study. Supervise personnel in the labeling of agents and related activities. Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring work activities, such as preparations of records, of expenditures, and progress reports.. Key Responsibilities:. Provides and/or develops strategy and direction to a divisional function or corporate sub-function across a geographic region, product line, or technical discipline through second-level managers. Requires detailed functional and operational expertise, and broad company knowledge. At this level, begins providing professional, thought and technical leadership in area of responsibility.. Develops and implements all operational policies, goals, performance standards/metrics and budgets. Additional state pharmacist licenses may be required as the business needs arise.. Education:. Degree or equivalent experience. Graduate degree in Business is a strong plus.
