We have an exciting opportunity for a strategic and innovative Sr. Product Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for working with key authors and in-house teams to create and deliver engaging, efficient, and effective learning experiences and validated assessments for courses in higher education English, Arts, Communication and Humanities. The Senior Product Developer oversees content quality by developing, editing, and shaping intellectual property for print and digital delivery. At the very core, the McGraw-Hill Product Developer transforms good content into great content-the beating heart of our 120-year-tradition of developing high quality course materials.

Your contribution to the team includes:

* Working with world-class higher-ed authors and subject-matter experts.
* Crafting research plans and analyzing and reporting on feedback from instructors, students and stakeholders.
* Working collaboratively across functional areas to identify solutions and problem-solve.
* Partnering with Portfolio and Marketing Managers to identify course trends and opportunities, execute digital strategy.
* Taking a leadership role in hiring and working with freelancers, coaching and mentoring in-house team members.

What you'll need to be successful:

* A Bachelor's Degree (required); related advanced coursework or equivalent work experience (preferred).
* Three plus years of experience in product management and product development.
* Proficiency in digital product development.
* Proven editorial and content development skills, informed by the tenets of learning science and instructional design.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills; critical analysis and problem-solving skills.
* Willingness to travel to campuses, conferences, author meetings, etc.
