The Department of Management at Manhattan College invites applications for one full-time, tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, starting in Fall 2020. The Department recently introduced new concentrations within the Major and is expanding its graduate offerings. It is committed to hiring talented and energetic individuals who can contribute to the growth of the Department and the mission of the O Malley School of Business. In view of the integrative nature of our program, we seek candidates with broad teaching and research interests. Preference will be given to expertise in Strategic Management as well as one of more of the following areas: Social Issues in Management, Ethics, Entrepreneurship, and Management (HR and Decision) Analytics, though all areas of management will be considered.
An earned doctorate in Management or a closely related discipline, from an AACSB-accredited institution, is required for appointment. Candidates who are ABD but expect to receive their PhD s by the starting date will also be considered. Ideal candidates will show evidence of quality teaching, a commitment to scholarly research, and a willingness to serve on department, school and college committees.
