What This Position Is All About:

The Department Supervisor-Operations supports sales and service by driving operational functions and supervising a sales support team. This leader oversees sales support functions including, but not limited to, dock to floor process, RTVs, transfers, store signing, mark down process, and daily store operations functions. He/she/they communicates regularly with store management to identify and resolve issues, meets operational deadlines, and coaches associates.

  • You Also Have:
  • Prior retail merchandising and supervisory experience.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including early mornings, late evenings, weekend, and holiday availability as business needs require.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to transport large quantities of merchandise with carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other moving equipment.
  • As an Operations Supervisor, You Will:

  • Achieve store metrics including, but not limited to, sales, payroll expense, credit performance, fulfillment rates, EBITDA, service, and open positions.
  • Lead sales and sale support team.
  • Relentlessly focus on delighting our internal and external customers by building partnerships and delivering on common goals.
  • Model customer-centric culture through service behaviors and coaching.
  • Oversee and execute operational processes including, but not limited to, truck processing, markdowns, fulfillment, door to floor process, merchandising displays, replenishment, promotional signing, markdowns, RTV's, processing speed, and inventory.
  • Ensure merchandise is processed correctly and complies with merchandise protection guidelines before placement on the selling floor.
  • Organize back of house areas to maintain supplies and optimize efficiency.
  • Supervise receiving process and unloading and sorting of merchandise onto rolling rods and sort areas.
  • Order store supplies in partnership with store manager.

  • Support merchandise presentation and signage standards in partnership with store leadership and visual.
  • Support store safety and shortage programs in partnership with store leadership and asset protection.
  • Maintain store equipment in partnership with IT on POS and system issues.
