Livingston International is North America s number one company focused on customs brokerage and compliance. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Client Solution Center, based in Norfolk, VA. Reporting to the Regional Director, National Service Center & Client Solution Center, this position is responsible for leading all brokerage operations at the site including service, profitability, and providing an exceptional client experience.
Ensure all incoming shipments are received, prioritized, and completed in a manner that meets or exceeds client expectations
Engage with customers to foster strong relationships and provide clarity in expectations and outcomes
Serve as a technical expert to internal and external stakeholders and provide solutions to complex problems
Structure a staffing and scheduling plan that ensures the operation is in position for success and assist in facilitating onboarding and departures of associates
Capture and calculate data that measures performance in the areas of service, productivity, and quality
Coach, counsel, and mentor the associates on the team to facilitate a positive and successful team as well as individual growth and development
Maintain and develop work standards for the team and facilitate training to address areas of noncompliance
Troubleshoot challenges and liaise with internal and external parties to successfully deliver solutions
High School Diploma or GED although we prefer a 2 or 4 year degree along with 3-5 years of brokerage, logistics, or supply chain experience
Demonstrated knowledge of Customs Regulations and Procedures, Livingston Processes and Procedures, Livingston Systems and Industry
A Customs Brokerage license would be a definite PLUS!

Proven individual and team facilitation skills, including conflict resolution
Intermediate computer skills in Web Navigation and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
