Lexmark International is seeking a Chemical Engineer to join the engineering team to support its manufacturing processes in Boulder, Colorado. The successful candidate will have at least a BS in Chemical Engineering and 2-5 years relevant industrial work experience.
Duties will include:
Daily Engineering support to a sophisticated, highly automated coating process
Projects to improve quality, efficiency, and capacity
Scale-up of new products
Work well in a team, as well as individually
Gather process data and analyze with statistical tools
Conduct experiments, analyze data, and draw meaningful conclusions
Identify process problems and develop creative solutions
Develop P&IDs and other process drawings
Good communication skills and ability to effectively interact with peers, contractors, management and process operators.
Organize and effectively execute process and equipment changes
DMAIC, A3, Six Sigma problem solving skills
Practitioner of LEAN manufacturing principles
Good computer skills especially Excel and PowerPoint
