Analysts are integral members of the Investment Banking Group, joining small transaction teams, which provide financial advisory services to the firm's clients. Day-to-day responsibilities of an analyst include financial analysis and modeling, company and industry research, participating in the development of client presentations and interacting with senior bankers and clients. Assignments fall into a range of categories, including M&A, divestitures, general and strategic advisory, restructuring and capital markets.
The Analyst will join the Financial Institutions Group and will be a generalist across all sub-verticals within financial institutions including: insurance, banks, asset management, alternative asset management, payments, fintech, and specialty finance.
Prior experience in an investment banking analyst role is strongly preferred, but financial institutions experience is not a pre-requisite.
Candidates should be top academic performers who are willing to work hard in an unstructured environment which values initiative, creativity, maturity, and enthusiasm for learning. Academic backgrounds may vary, however candidates must be comfortable with financial concepts and enjoy quantitative work.
