Position Description: Full time Laser Operator for a growing capital equipment manufacturer.Reports to the Manufacturing Manager. Duties and ResponsibilitiesAbility to program, operate and maintain Fiber LaserTrumpf 1030 Completes production plan by producing to schedule Responsible for maintaining material stock levelsDesired Experience:Previous experience in high tech metal cutting: laser (fiber/CO2), water jet, plasmaMaintaining inventory control by monitoring and tracking allocations and stock levels using softwareWorking in custom machine manufacturing: low volume, high mixProgramming using Trumpf Trutops for laser nesting Requirements: High School Degree or Equivalent.Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environmentPrevious experience operating high tech equipmentAbility to interpret and read blue prints and engineering drawingsStrong computer proficiency (Office, word, excel, outlook)Experience work in a team environmentust be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
