Reporting to the LMS Administrator, the Junior LMS Administrator will be responsible for day to day operation of the LMS and will assist with software feature and learning program’s development. This position does not require LMS experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Loads, manages, and curates learning content for KAR-level training.
  • Manages, assigns and reports on training for large remote populations.
  • Manages day to day operation of program.
  • Owns and manages intranet site content for user and system support.
  • Implements system features/drives user engagement and ease of use in concert with system admin lead.
  • Interacts with LMS publisher, course vendors, and content partners to troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Supports data in cooperation with HRIS services. Maintains org structure as needed.
  • Audits training compliance. Provides stakeholder reporting.
  • Maintains documentation integrity to ensure accuracy, quality, version control, and distribution processes. Reviews and catalogs library to ensure e Learning courses, videos and printed materials are easy to identify, access, and updated for all programs.
  • Provides technical support for other administrators and for end users.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Desired Qualifications / Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 0-3 years of experience in training and/or systems administration or similar role.
  • Strong technical capabilities a must.
  • Strong desire to learn.
  • Proven ability to write clearly, use proper grammar, etc. Able to clearly write processes and relate technical information clearly and simply.
  • Self-starter and self-directed. Self-motivated.
  • Has track record of handling progressive levels of responsibility.
  • Able to handle responsibility and work with team on project goals. Works well with others.
  • Exposure to rules-based database system preferred. System administration experience at some level preferred.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems a plus, particularly with Cornerstone On Demand.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and proven technical acumen with some understanding of browsers, PC support and networks.
  • Ability to follow processes closely and consistently. Project management, technical writing and/or digital content management experience preferred but not required.
