Jet Aviation is seeking a Specialist IT Architecture to be based in Teterboro, NJ.

Position Summary

As Specialist IT Architecture of Jet Aviation you will be responsible for designing, maintaining and supporting computer infrastructure services and networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), the Internet, intranets, and other data communications systems.. Creates, tests, and evaluates systems and networks. He or she will have responsibility for influencing the individuals in a matrixed team in order ensure business objectives are met, respecting budget, time and quality targets, in line with the organizations strategy. The Specialist IT Architecture will be collaborating closely with various IT groups and business departments throughout the company to ensure that the roadmap for network architecture they develop is globally aligned and executed effectively.

Main Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements to develop technical infrastructure systems and network solutions and their framework.

Evaluate, design, test and examine data communications systems.

Develop technology roadmaps.

Plan, manage, execute and control various IT projects (develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines)

Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning.

Manage LAN/WAN and internet technology vendors.

Lead and perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose business critical application problems.

Write functional requirements/specifications documents.

Stay abreast of how technology infrastructures are currently impacting and driving business.

Determine business direction and align with compliance and security requirements.

Supervise the upgrade of network hardware and software components as required.

IT Services performances - time to resolve issues and requests

Network Services, Vendor Management and network performance metrics

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

Information Technology Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in information technology operations, information security and /or technology architectures

Diverse experience utilizing multiple technologies such as AD, VMWare, NetApp/Storage SAN, Server 2016, Cisco ISE & Prime

CCNP or equivalent networking professional certificates preferred with proven practical skill applied in projects or in positions of increasing job responsibilities.

Deep understanding of network concepts such as MPLS, Mesh/SD WAN VPN, Cloud integration, etc

10 years experience in a broad range of network technology operations and progressive career in design leadership

Adapt to a challenging and fast-moving environment, with changing priorities and a heavy workload

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
