To provide clinical services, support, and manage the overall care of clients admitted to the 24 hour hospital alternative facility. Assists with the treatment plans of clients, provides crisis intervention services, and helps with safety planning. Helps manage the overall treatment milieu.
* Participate in supervision by coming prepared with agenda. Report high risk/problem cases, and utilizes a problem solving approach as well as feedback. Attend supervision at times and intervals agreed upon with supervisor. * Completes all required documentation in accordance with Jefferson Center standards. * Assists with new client admissions, orients clients to facility rules, layout, and procedures. * Helps monitor therapeutic milieu, intervenes as needed to ensure a positive and safe treatment environment * Assists, as appropriate, with group treatment as determined by the Teller Place Manager. * Monitors client risk factors and reports to other staff when encountering high risk situations. * Does room checks as required by facility. * Assists with developing client safety plans and discharge planning. * Maintains appropriate professional standards and provides appropriate follow-up for consumers. * Exhibit enthusiasm, courtesy, adaptability, flexibility, and spirit of cooperation in the work environment. * Maintain effective interpersonal relations with consumers, peers, subordinates, upper management, visitors and the general public.

* Bachelor's Degree in counseling, psychology or related field, plus one to two years related experience and/or training in crisis intervention or inpatient treatment. * QMAP training required.
