The SystemsEngineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the IntegratedResearch and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
Support the complete product life-cycle ofinformation technology- oriented sustainment projects supporting the C2BMC TestBed, BNOSC, GM infrastructure, and JFCC-IMD at the MDIOC.
Develop and manage requirements and conduct systemsrequirements analysis
Conduct risk/opportunity identification and management,functional analysis, snd develop functional architecture.
Provide system design support and trade studiesand interface control specification development.
Conduct impact assessments of customer requests
Create briefs and presentations and coordinateacross organizations
Test and verify delivered products andservices, validate documentation and verification case development.
The successful candidate will be able to:
Applyclassical systems engineering approaches to requirements analysis, technicalassessments and trade studies, and project technical oversight.
Demonstrate excellentcollaboration, verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Thisposition is located at Schriever AFB, Colorado.

Qualifications Basic Requirements:
Must have oneof the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED)and 8 years of general experience; Associate s degree and 6 years of generalexperience; Bachelor s degree and 4 years of general experience; Master sdegree and 2 years of general experience.
Candidatemust have 4 years of experience in a related field, with 3 of those yearsworking with systems engineering processes and tools supporting requirementsdevelopment, risk management, trade studies/analysis, and V&V.
Candidate must be able tomultitask in a dynamic environment, work independently, and work in a teamenvironment .
Candidatemust have good communication skills with demonstrated experience in briefing senior customers and management .
Candidatemust have an active DoD Secret clearance(or must be able to obtain).
Bachelor s Degree in an engineeringdiscipline
Systemsengineering certification such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP.
Developmentexperience; experience with IT architecture
Hands-onrequirements development experience
Familiarity with information technology concepts (i.e., communication networks, computer and networkinghardware)
Proficient with MS Officeapplications (including Visio,and MS Project)
Knowledgeof Missile Defense, DoD communications systems, and MDIOC operations.
