The PropertyMove Team supports Site Lead through Property Management requirements for theMissile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development forEnterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. Area of responsibility is Colorado Springs(COS) and regional facilities to include but not limited to the city of COS andScheirever AFB (SAFB).

Thecandidate will:

  • Will Supports move team operations for IT and non-IT equipment and materials.
  • Concentrating on end user devices such as desktops, laptops, monitors, VOIP phones, zero clients and accessories/periprials.
  • Responsibility includes unhooking and rehooking devices (ethernet, fiber and power) ensuring customer has power and network connectivity.
  • Employs safe practices in movement to protect self, others and property being moved.
  • Movement may include movement of large and awkward equipment racks and other such devices.
  • Supports warehouse duties to include pulling and returning property from stock, managing records associated to warehouse activities, warehouse inventory, material handling and general housekeeping.
  • May be required to drive a 26 ft. truck to support deliveries within CO.
  • Additionally, physical inventory at SAFB and other contract facilities within COS.
  • This diverse position requires the candidate to support all area of responsibilities under the all property outcomes, as assigned.
  • Thisposition will be posted for two weeks ending on 3 June2019. If a candidate has notbeen selected at that time, it will continue to be posted until a suitablecandidate is selected or the position is closed.

    This position is located at Schriever AFB,Colorado.



    Must have one of the following combinations of education andexperience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 8 years of general experience; Associatedegree and 6 years of general experience; Bachelor s degree and 4 years ofgeneral experience; Master s degree and 2 years of general experience.

  • Generalexperience must include 4 years directly related experience
  • Applicant must be able to lift up to 40 lbs., 2-persn lift upto 100 lbs.
  • Stand for extended periods of time and stoop/reach to move and retrieve property.
  • Must show strong abilities to employ safe work environment habits for all parties involved.
  • Attention to detail a must with the added ability to perform database and internet research. Ability to operate material handling equipment to include operating a forklift.
  • Must have the a DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain.
  • DesiredRequirements:

  • Operationalunderstanding of applicable FAR/DFARS and DOD (DODI) directives pertaining tothe management of Government property in the possession of contractors.
  • Strong communication skills (written andoral).
  • Additionallyexperience with fiber and Ethernet connectivity a plus with an emphasis on ITequipment support/operations.
  • Understandssimple network operations and troubleshooting.
