TheBMDExercise Event Lead supports the Missile DefenseAgency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for EnterpriseSolutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
Provide life cycle leadership and management of Exercise and Wargame events ranging from complex fully distributed and federated Combatant Command (CCMD) Exercises to relatively simple unclassified BMDS Demonstrations.
Be responsible for the entire event life cycle, which includes design, test, and execution.
Manage the MDA s support to USINDOPACOM for Keen Edge and Keen Sword series.
Support Stakeholders in USINDOPACOM and its subordinates and MDA 2ltrs.
Interact with a wide range of event participants, which can include senior policy makers, general/flag officers, foreign Ambassadors, members of Congress and the press corps.
Participate in events that are engineered to include hardware-in-the- loop (HWIL) and operator-in-the-loop (OITL) participation; and may include multiple simulations and elements.
Serve as Control Account Manager for assigned tasks.

Demonstrate solid skills with MS Office products to include Vision and Project.
Effectively collaborate with a broad spectrum of stakeholders to integrate capabilities as required into increasingly complex exercise environments.
Clearly and succinctly communicate complex concepts, issues, and status to senior contractor and government leadership.
Demonstrate exceptional written and oral communication skills through technical writing, senior leader briefings preparation/presentation and direct customer interface.
Exhibit knowledge of missile defense doctrine, concepts of operation (CONOPS), tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and Integrated Missile Defense (IMD) system architectures.
Thisposition is located at Schriever AFB, CO. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications Basic Requirements :
Musthave one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma(or GED) and 16 years of general experience; Associate s degree and 14 years ofgeneral experience; Bachelor s degree and 12 years of general experience;Master s degree and 10 years of general experience.
Must have 8 years directly related experience and 5 years in management or leadership roles.
Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance (or be able to obtain within 60 days of offer).
Able to travel worldwide, sometimes on short notice (approx. 25%).
Previous experience with Combatant Command exercise programs.
Experience with Ballistic Missile Defense Systems (BMDS) operations, capabilities and requirements.
Strong knowledge of BMD M&S tools, to include SSF Interface Unit (SIU), Open Systems Architecture Sensor Models (OSM), Missile Defense Space Warning Toll (MDST), etc.
An in-depth understanding of Joint Doctrine.
Familiarity with BMD CONOPS and TTP development.
Experience with Military Command and Control systems & Operational Centers.
Experience in INDOPACOM IAMD operations and/or exercises.
