Key Responsibilities
Prepare annual business plans and be responsible for its implementation
Plan and pursuit of new Hydro clients and projects, develop and pursue hydraulic structure and hydropower engineering and EPC work, develop clientele and partners in those areas.
Prepare and implement Business Development strategies and plans
Leads preparation of proposals and could serve as Senior Project Manager of resulting work as appropriate
Organize and manage engineering and EPC teams set up to work on hydraulic structures and hydropower projects
Build and lead a local client facing execution team
Negotiates contract commercial terms, manages project budgets, costs, receivables, and contract/legal issues
Applies knowledge of policies and regulations to project scope
Uses Company project management phases & methodology including, project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & control, and closeout to direct work.
Manages changes and risk on scope, cost, schedule, quality, and safety based on available resources and client requirements
Represent Company at industry meetings and events
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of science degree.

Preferred Qualifications
15 + years of experience working on hydraulic structures and hydropower projects with vast experience in executing projects in the NE
Several years of management and project management experience
Should have hydraulic structure or hydropower engineering design experience
Extensive business development experience interfacing with clients
Extensive knowledge of the Hydro market in the Northeastern US (clients, projects, competition, etc.)
Outstanding communication skills both written and oral
PE or PMP registration is desirable
