Our client is currently seeking an experienced Clinical Faculty / Physician Recruiter. This is an amazing opportunity with this highly sought after employer in the Healthcare Industry.

The Strategic Workforce Management team at our client exists to undertake a conscious and deliberate approach to attract, develop and retain people with the right aptitude, abilities, and "fit" to meet current and future organizational needs.

As a key member of their Clinical Faculty HR team, the Clinical Faculty Recruiter's role is characterized by strong individual performance, communication, initiative and adherence to the hospital values with the responsibility of delivering results by following the established HR and recruitment processes.

The Clinical Faculty Recruiter performs a variety of high level functions to support the full life cycle recruitment and hiring for all clinical faculty (physicians), clinical faculty leadership positions and advanced practice professionals (APPs). This position utilizes innovative sourcing techniques and methods, employs the latest in technology and industry trends to attract a diverse pool of qualified applicants, and ensures an efficient and cost effective recruitment process.

In addition to performing recruitment and administrative functions, the Clinical Faculty Recruiter serves as the first point of contact for faculty and APP candidates who visit the Center. This position is responsible for the initial negotiations with the candidate(s), and works closely with the Human Resources (HR) Clinical Faculty Business Partner to proactively identify staffing and other HR needs.

IV. QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

Required: Bachelor's degree at minimum in Business, Communication, Healthcare or another related discipline.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Minimum three (3) years' of Human Resources experience, specifically in recruitment of professional and/or Executive level positions. Physician specific recruitment highly preferred.
  • - Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including recruitment, compensation, benefits, and federal and state employment laws.

    - Demonstrated experience with MS Office, to include Word, Outlook and Excel.

    - Demonstrated experience with applicant sourcing methods and techniques, applicant tracking systems, and superior keyboarding skills.

    - Ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism, communicate with team members at all levels of the organization.

    Preferred:

    - Related experience in a healthcare, academic or research setting.

    - Experience recruiting academic clinical faculty.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    1. Conducts executive level recruitment for all Clinical Faculty, APPs and assigned staff for the assigned business unit in accordance with policies related to Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity.

    2. Develops and maintains a strategic Recruitment Plan to include multiple innovate sourcing operations, position specific advertising and track all facets of the recruitment process.

    3. Serves as the central point of contact between the candidate, the department chair, and the department administrator.

    4. Works with the HR Faculty Business Partner to develop terms of employment for all new hires, promotions and transfers to ensure compliance with standard procedure, practice, policy, and all Laws, Rules and Regulations.

    5. Develops list of key on-site and off-site recruitment events including job fairs, college recruiting fairs, conferences and trade shows for representation as appropriate.
