We are an equalopportunity employer, dedicated to hiring a diverse workforce; includingindividuals with disabilities and United States qualified protected veterans\\. **_Essential Job Functions_** + Lead a group of materials, production, and shippingpersonnel to address the following at the MDI board at least once a day: - Units in production that have amaterial or manufacturing issue dead on the line\\. - Units in production that requireverification of ESD for the customer\\. - Units complete in production, butmissing accessory or individual unit + Take requests from the field for date improvement\\.Add to the MDI board if necessary\\. + Take requests from the field for ship date verification + Take requests from the Change Order group to verify if achange order can be done - Verify the position of the order inthe schedule - Determine what material cannot bestopped or reused\\. - Determine how much of a delay willresult from the change\\. - Tell the Change Order group if therequest can be honored and what should be the new ESD\\. + Track down units that the customer said he never received\\(but the plant shows shipped\\) + Track down shipping information \\(BOL and transporter\\) requestedby the customer\\. + Work with the Master Scheduler to change ESDs based on SSDreschedules in the factory\\. + Work with Logistics to change ESDs and shipping instructionsbased on truckload planning, requests for dedicated truck, requests for teamdrivers, and requests for air freight, and requests for partials \\(units withoutaccessories, or part of the unit order\\) + Manage the at\\-risk notification system once the productionlines are settled down and ESDs are more reliable\\. + Work the backlog of final finisher units\\. + Manage communication with salesoffices with regards to customer orders, responding to inquiries for orderstatus + Verify all order lines and prepare order reports on a dailybasis + Monitor and evaluate order issues + Evaluate weekly metrics and analyze opportunities forcontinuous improvement project **_Education,Experience, & Skills_** + Expertise in lean philosophy and application of tools tolead high performance work teams\\. + HVAC manufacturing experience is a plus\\. + Exceptional leadership, motivational, and project managementskills with the ability to drive project\\-specific issues and goals to closure\\. + Ability to integrate business, manufacturing, and technicalelements\\. + Good analytical skills, demonstrated by both quantitativeand qualitative data analysis and decision making for basic problem solving\\. + Six Sigma/Operational Excellence certification, equivalentexperience leading one, or more major process development projects from conceptto production using Six Sigma/Operational Excellence methodologies\\. + Must possess clear thought process of defining problems,collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions usingLean/Operational Excellence/Operational Excellence methodologies\\. + Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communicationskills\\. + Ability to enhance a team environment, including developmentof team\\-oriented managers and supervisors\\. + Able to make timely decision in stressful situations\\. + Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of management\\. + Good understanding of consumer products, high volume leanmanufacturing, and state\\-of\\-the\\-art manufacturing processes\\. + Leads Authentically + Builds Talent and Capability + Coaches for Performance + Creates external awareness + Thinks and acts strategically + Delivers business results **_PhysicalRequirements_** + Ability to effectively communicate with all levels ofinternal company and external associates, both written and orally, includingthe telephone\\.
