The Human Resources function is comprised of a best in class team of HR professionals including Generalists, Recruiters and Total Rewards specialists. Position summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Talent Acquisition professional who is looking to take the next step in their career.

Duties and accountabilities:

  • Managing a mixed portfolio of requisitions for roles in different business lines, at varying levels of seniority (from entry level to Senior Director) and across multiple locations on the East Coast
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Review and interview candidates for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
  • Manage the presentation, selection, offer negotiation, closing and administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting
  • Execute sourcing via existing and emerging channels including proactively developing leads
  • Manage administrative requirements to fill positions including updating the applicant tracking system
  • Ensure compliance with IHS Markit policies, local employment legislation as well as relevant governmental regulations (where appropriate)
  • Education and experience

  • Candidates are likely to be degree educated
  • Minimum of 8+ years experience in corporate recruitment or agency recruitment with a focus on full time permanent sourcing
  • Experienced in financial services, technology or data industry
  • Experience working with Workday or similar ATS
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Commercial awareness
  • Strong understanding of the end to end recruitment cycle across different geographies
  • Personal competencies

  • Proven experience of knowing what it takes to provide a consistently first-class customer service internally and externally
  • Comfortable taking ownership for work, identifying the need for action (using initiative) whilst working effectively within a team
  • Able to organize self, including effective scheduling, prioritization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel, completing tasks to tight deadlines.
  • Displays a resilient and adaptable style, adjusting comfortably to changing conditions
  • The role would suit highly driven self-starters with a strong desire to challenge and deliver and a can-do attitude
  • Communication

  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, a confident and articulate presenter to internal / external audiences, exercising appropriate discretion in dealing with individuals from all areas of the company
  • Ability to build effective working relationships internally and externally, establishing credibility amongst a wide and global client group
  • Teamwork

  • Able to positively engage with, and contribute to, the wider global team, working collaboratively to achieve group goals and objectives
  • Comfortable taking ownership for work whilst working effectively within a team
