This position is for a detail orientated individual to work as part of a small but effective team handling a critical niche insurance product. In this role, the candidate will be working with major financial institutions as well as select insurance markets. Candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision. He or she will support the team providing various complex clerical functions to provide outstanding service on client accounts including but not limited to:* Quote reviews and analysis* Policy review and analysis* Running exposure reports* Monthly client reports* Invoicing, certificates, coverage summaries* Claims support and advocacyEssential Duties:* Critical functions requiring strong attention to detail and time management skills* Monitors the renewal and binder control system to ensure deliverables are progressing according to schedule, including providing timely reminders and follow up to ensure all information is provided and accurate* Assists in preparing proposal components including the analysis of: pricing, coverage terms and conditions, services, quote comparisons, financing, commentary and recommendations* Requesting and securing follow-up for changes from underwriters to ensure coverage is correct for both binders and policies* Assisting in the creation of presentations and program submissions, including coverage specifications, in collaboration with Advisory colleagues* Attending and engaging in internal strategy meetings to better understand the program and team work assignments, including providing meeting summaries and follow up on agreed action items* Maintains ongoing relationship with clients and team colleagues to effectively service clients and market contact and assist the Advisory colleagues* Understands and complies with compliance and transparency standardsQualifications* High School graduate* 3 - 5 years of professional experience* MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Access)* Must be organized and able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills* Must have keen attention to detail with a focus on accuracyPreferred Qualifications* College degree* Previous support experience in the insurance industry* Advanced Excel proficiencyMarsh is a global leader in insurance broking and risk management.
