The Corporate Banking Group is part of the HSBC US Commercial Bank and is responsible for managing relationships with public and private companies headquartered in the U.S. with revenues in excess of US$500 million that are not covered by the Global Bank. This group provides traditional corporate banking and investment banking products to its clients. The Group focuses on the NYC market.The team is looking to add an Associate Relationship Manager in its NYC office to focus on the larger NY area.In this role the Associate Relationship Manager will support Global Relationship Managers and partner with various product partner specialists to deliver the full corporate and investment banking product suite, including: loans, capital markets, cash management, trade finance, foreign exchange, derivatives, and other structured products both domestically and throughout HSBC's international network. The position is primarily geared towards providing leadership to deal teams, accountability for pitch book and marketing material preparation, and leading transaction execution. The position is also responsible for ensuring coordination among credit underwriting, product partner specialists, and international coverage to deliver tailored, client-specific solutions. As a member of the deal team, the position plays an integral role in maintaining and growing multi-country and multi-product relationships.Responsibilities:* Work closely with Global Relationship Managers to provide overall relationship management support* Support bankers in cross-selling HSBC's full product suite to generate revenue by identifying and responding to needs of both existing clients and prospects* Act as a primary point of contact for clients and effectively manage day-to-day requirements of the portfolio* Manage pre-call and marketing material preparation, including coordination with the necessary product and international coverage partners* Ensure compliance standards are upheld in conjunction with the KYC Support Team* Responsible for staying up to date of market and industry trends, current events, best practices, and competitive landscape* Undertake all required activities as directed by the Regional Head in support of the development of the Corporate Banking business* Ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of Corporate Banking or Investment Banking experience with a strong corporate finance / credit background.* Candidate that has completed a Commercial or Investment Banking Analyst Training Program preferred* Graduate programs or financial analysis designations (such as CFA) preferred* Working knowledge of Corporate Banking and Investment Banking product suite* Strong analytical and problem solving skills* Well-developed written and oral communication skills* Highly organized, detailed-oriented, and proactive* Bachelor's degreeEEO/AA/Minorities/Women/Disability/Veterans
