General mission

* The Senior Account Executive - Equestrian is responsible for actively seeking and counseling potential clients by visiting barns for saddle fittings and sales. This position will assist the Hermes retail network by partnering with the boutiques when needed, ensuring client satisfaction through the pre and after sales process. The Senior Account Executive must promote brand awareness and excellent service being a true brand ambassador and exemplifying that in every aspect of the role. All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Main activities

Functional Responsibility:Drive sales to achieve goals for both Equestrian Roaming Store and saddle sales goals. Focus on saddle sales but also promote the whole equestrian collection through the Equestrian Roaming Store. Develop new relationships with relevant and influential partner and prescriber riders, trainers and barns to procure sales.Assume the after sales servicing directly with the customers and coordinate repairs; be the liaison between Paris and US Craftsperson where necessary.Independently prepares sales presentations, contract and proposals to ensure successful outcome of transactions. Provides technical advice; supports and contributes to the training of less experienced sales representatives.Uses analytical and market trends to submit orders from two collection offers a year.Works with VP, Sr. Manager and Paris mtier on strategy to drive results.Develop and guarantee Hermes image within the equestrian world by identifying new events for Hermes participation.Reporting sales activity/technique and competitors key actions/products. Supervisory Responsibility:YES - Manages the West Coast Equestrian Account Executive position. Budget Responsibility:YES - Responsible for achieving given annual sales targets Decision-Making Responsibility:YES - Troubleshoots specific client issues

Applicant profile

* Minimum Years of Experience3-5 years of equestrian experience with product knowledge on fitting saddles. Minimum Education RequirementBachelor's degree is preferred. Preferred SkillsAbility to lift 50lbs and help install horse show fixtures.Experienced rider, comfortable working with and handling all types of horses.Working knowledge of various discipline requirements in the stable and for the show ring.Good organization skills and the ability to multitask while handling challenges with grace and ease.Ability to travel throughout the US to horse shows, equestrian events, client saddle fitting appointments and in-store trainings. (60%).Self-starter with entrepreneurial mind, comfortable developing relationships in person and over the phone.An existing network in the equestrian market of trainers, riders and clients.A strong understanding of what it means to a Hermes ambassador in the equestrian community.People and Service oriented friendly, patient, dedicated, adaptable, and articulate; cares just as much about after sales as getting the sale.
