We are seeking certification by the American Board ofInternal Medicine or American Board of Pediatrics in addition to certificationor eligibility by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. The position entails clinical evaluation ofboth adult and pediatric patients, active participation in the division'sfellowship training program and contribution to ongoing research effortsfocusing on the epidemiologic aspects of allergic and immunologicdisorders. Opportunities for academicappointment at Wayne State University are available. Prior research experience and the ability toobtain additional research funding to advance ongoing projects investigatingallergic and immunological disorders is preferred. The practice isbased out of Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, with presence in several othermedical center sites, offering a strong clinical practice environment withleading edge science and technology. The Department is backed by excellencein research, education and a collaborative practice with the other specialtiesin the 1,000-physician Henry Ford Medical Group.
