Description SHIFT: No Weekends SCHEDULE: Full-time Nurse Manager Radiology Medical City Dallas Responsible for all radiology nursing and interventional departmental functions in support of the hospital mission, vision and strategic goals. The Manager plans, directs, and coordinates administrative activities of the radiology nursing and interventional radiology services. This role is responsible for the daily oversight of the radiology nursing team, management of the departmental staff and call schedules. The Manager assists the service line leaders in recommending and evaluation of capital equipment, supplies, operational efficiencies, new technology and process modifications. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies, including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors. The Manager works closely with radiology physician leadership to execute operational improvement opportunities. The Manager identifies and remedies through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement. The Manager works with senior leadership in meeting facility goals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in nursing required Master's degree in nursing or related field preferred Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license Minimum of 3 years of Radiology, Procedural, Critical Care or Perianesthesia Nursing experience Management experience to include management of personnel, payroll, budgets, capital, business planning, marketing, physician relations and management of supervisory positions.
