Job Title: Commercial Operations Project Lead

Department: Commercial Operations

Reports to: Director, Commercial Operations

Location: Hilton Head Island, SC

General Description of Position:

The Project Lead is responsible for supporting the planning, executing and evaluating of commercial capital projects. The Project Lead will work according to predetermined timelines and budgets, while utilizing the approved methods and procedures of the Commercial Operations Team. Additional responsibilities include assisting in building and managing aspects or subsets of projects, reporting to the Commercial Operations Director and ensuring quality control throughout project life cycles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Manage aspects of project development in accordance with the direction of the Director.
* Resolves customer complaints of service that are processed by phone and email.
* Facilitates the processing, and scheduling of trouble call assignments as needed.
* Communicates independently, effectively, clearly, professionally, and relays necessary information to immediate supervisor/manager.
* Assists with the demands required during moments of increased workloads.
* Be accountable for assigned project tasks and related results as assigned by Director.
* Work with Director to support completion of approved capital projects supporting the overall growth of the commercial organization.
* Provide feedback to Director regarding project schedule to identify when each task will be performed and to identify risks to schedule, scope or budget.
* Clearly communicate updates to the defined team as they relate to the project.
* Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the project life cycle as it pertains to your assigned tasks and responsibilities.
* Be constantly mindful of project scope by ensuring that any changes to scope/assumptions are documented and brought to the attention of the Manager so that they can be considered and handled in accordance to the PMO standard practices.
* Track and report on assigned project milestones and provide status updates to the defined team on a regular basis so that he/she is apprised of all aspects of the project and so that the updates will be reflected in the weekly status updates.
* Ensure that all project documents are archived throughout and after project.
* Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure effective operations for the company.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* 3-5 years' work experience in project management or related field.
* Familiarity with project management tools and/or software packages.
* Demonstrated experience in managing small to medium scale projects or initiatives.
* Demonstrated experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
* Ability to rapidly adapt to changes in direction and priorities.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills.
* Demonstrated ability to elicit cooperation from other departments.
