Hargray Communications is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to develop meaningful analysis to support the Digital Transformation project. Duties & Responsibilities: Including but not limited to the following. Create and monitor metrics for project tracking pertinent to Operational PlansMaintain and manage the DT business case any supporting changes throughout the life of the project utilizing NPV, IRR and payback calculations to support DT and senior management decision making around capital investment and expensePrepares the monthly forecast and analysis to include coordinating input from PMO and supporting organizationCollect and organize project cost estimatesTrack actual vs. planned project spend via internal labor and vendor invoices to ensure proper coding and timing in recording costsReview invoices for assigned projects to confirm coding and timing accuracy according to GAAP and company policiesLiaison with accounting department providing project accrual information for related costs incurred but not recordedAttend meetings keeping current records of anticipated cost updates associated with projects assigned allowing for up to date tracking and forecastingGather data and provide analysis in support of the multiyear Digital Transformation project. This includes but is not limited to financial tracking, metrics, analysis, and productivity.Develops strategic financial analysis which enables the DT PMO, colleagues, across the organization, including the senior team, to make better-informed decisions and optimize our business in light of digital transformation.Compile and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect itConvert complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reportsUse data modeling practices to analyze your findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changesArchitect periodic reporting as business needs require and work with reporting coordinators to implement regular distribution of these materialsMaintain the PxQ model and other component metrics and keeping current for management review and use Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, etc.) preferred3-5 years of experience in an accounting, finance, business, or project management related roleStrong emphasis on organization skillsMust have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Exhibits good judgment and makes sound and timelyWillingness and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with a high energy levelExcellent communications and teamwork skills; must be able to effectively advise and interact with business leaders in other parts of the companyAbility to analyze large data setsSome experiences with enterprise financial applicationsStrong data handling skills, particularly in the Microsoft O365 suite, including Excel, Powerpoint, WordAbility to organize and manage multiple prioritiesEOE/ Disability Associated topics: analyse, business analyst, consult, examiner, financial analyst, financial analytic, investment analytics, investment banking, law, regulation
