You will direct the day-to-day account activities of the team and play a key role in translating marketing and advertising objectives into overall media strategies. You will also direct development of media plans consistent with the approved strategy. You will be responsible for developing the skill and knowledge of your assigned Associates and Senior Associates.

Responsibilities

* Plan Development and Maintenance
* Assist Director with all aspects of communication plan development and recommendations
* Demonstrate full understanding of Client's businesses as basis for all future work
* Ensure integration & coordination between various communications programs
* Determine and supervise implementation of all communication plans and projects
* Seek, investigate and actively pursue innovative communications opportunities
* Provide Client with strategic points-of- view
* Prepare and present communication plans including objectives, strategy and rationale
* Develop innovative ways to present the team's work
* Act as primary planning integration contact for agency partners
* Keep abreast of current events, media and industry trends that impact business
* Supervise, guide and counsel Senior Associates and Associates on all day-to-day activities
* Check for accuracy, timeliness and quality of all media group outputs
* Keep media and agency partners updated and informed on status of all account projects
* Initiate appropriate cross-functional client meetings
* Attend and participate in Client and Agency meetings as the day-to-day representative
* Manage solid relationships across agency and media partners in order to ensure brand knowledge and understanding across all parties

Required Experience

* At least 5 years of related Multicultural market media/communications planning experience
* Bachelor's degree required; concentration in advertising, marketing or communications
* Possess and demonstrate excellent understanding of media fundamentals, including media math, target audience development, and communication goals
* Demonstrate strong proficiency with systems/tools
* Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency
* Demonstrate critical thinking and effective problem solving skills
* Ability to work within and effectively manage a team, prioritizing and organizing multiple assignments for both self and team direct reports
* Adherence to tight deadlines while delivering flawless work
* Extremely detail-oriented, with clear and proven organizational skills
* Exude an energy level that brings new and exciting ideas to the client and team
* Exhibit passion through appropriate participation in team, agency, and industry initiatives
* Demonstrate genuine curiosity and interest in our clients & their business
* Digitally savvy, with specific proficiency at Excel, Word, PowerPoint
