Senior Director, People Operations Jobs in New York, NY. We are looking for a Senior Director of People Operations to lead the Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, and HRIS teams at Etsy. In this role, you will design compensation and benefit programs that enable Etsy to attract, reward and retain our highly talented and diverse people our business needs to succeed globally. You will also shape and have overall responsibility for the strategy of the global people systems and payroll function. You will set the direction and ensure that HRIS systems adequately support the organizations People practices. You will oversee successful delivery including HRIS reporting function, data management and compliance.. Reporting to the SVP, People, Strategy and Services, you will lead the development and execution of the overall total rewards and people systems at Etsy. You will work closely with the People team and leaders across the organization.. This role is based in our Brooklyn, NY office.. About the Role:. Lead compensation, benefits, payroll and HR systems teams globally (currently a team of 12). Set the operational strategy for global people operations across Etsy and any subsidiaries, lead M&A integration and run parent company operations. Develop operational excellence in the People Ops organization and lead implementation of process efficiencies, i.e. communication efficiencies, automation, etc.. Oversee the design of compensation programs, structure and philosophy for the organization globally. Deliver high quality and timely consultation and service to the organization on compensation programs from offer comp to promotion to annual reviewsIdentify and evaluate benefits improvements to meet the needs of our employees, and maintain our outstanding benefits offerings. Develop and deliver communications which aid our candidates and employees in understanding and celebrating the value of their total compensation and industry leading benefits. Build solid relationships with leaders, including the Executive Team, across the business in order to both advise and anticipate competitive hot spots. Drive all total rewards work for board meetings, lead compensation committee across executive and broad scale compensation practicesCollaborate with cross-functional People Team partners (Head of Recruiting and Head of People Strategy) and business partners to deliver programs aligned to business strategy. Establish a close partnership with Finance, collaborate on forecasting and all people related investments. Lead all aspects of the HRIS and Payroll teams and HR tools used to hold people related data. Coordinate the design and development of dashboards, reports, presentations and visual aids to support communication of total rewards metrics internally. Maintain an external network to keep evolving trends in tech industry total rewards, tools and people analyticsLead ongoing external benchmarking processHandle vendor relationships, negotiating rates. About You:. You have a proven track record of managing, leading and developing a team (including leading managers). 10+ years of HR operations, technology, total rewards programs or related experience. Experience developing global total rewards programs in highly competitive talent markets. Experience working with compensation structures, job evaluation process and benchmark salary data. Experience with market-based pricing, short and long term incentive administration and other compensation frameworks. Proven project management skills and use of standard methodologies, leading large scale cross functional initiativesExperience and working knowledge of standard HRIS Systems, preferably Workday. Very strong analytical and quantitative skills and a track record for planning, doing, and auditing work. Demonstrated consultative and business partnering skills. Ability to effectively communicate and influence partners across all areas of the business and level. International compensation/benefits experience (preferably in Europe).
