The Emergency Services Technician is a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team working within an Emergency Services environment who provides appropriate care that enhances comfort and wellbeing of patient and the Family. This position requires a service-orientated individual with strong interpersonal communication skills to deliver care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups in variable clinical conditions. Patient care activities are delegated and supervised by RN staff in concordance with patient care orders, patient needs and unit responsibilities. Critical thinking and diligent action is required in the execution of such activities.
Minimum Requirements: Experience with phlebotomy and initiation of EKG, Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist Certification preferred
Education/Licenses/Certifications: Current Washington state certification/licensure as a CNA or NA-R, or successful completion of EMT Training Course (EMT will be required to obtain NA-R within 90 days of hire) Current Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist Certification or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligible is required. Previous experience as a CNA, NA-R, corpsman, EMT, or phlebotomist in an emergency department, pre-hospital, or acute care setting within the last three years Current CPR Certification
