As the leader of this team undergoing a technology transformation, you will help shape the future of businesses of all sizes by using technology effectively and efficiently to connect with athletes, employees, and partners. Manage the team and resources efficiently and ensure the team has clear priorities and adequate resources Make critical decisions that attribute to the success of your products, and ultimately the company Maintain high morale and motivate the team to go above and beyond. Advocate for technical excellence and helping the team make good decisions Build, grow, and retain top talent and continually find ways to inspire and challenge the engineering organization. As the Director of Engineering, you will drive the engineering strategy for Merchandising technology and lead teams that will focus on developing the next generation of Merchandising tools and product offerings. You will partner closely with senior leadership across Engineering, Product Management, Design, and the Merchandising business in order to deliver on the strategic roadmap aspirations in this domain. This role will be a student of current industry trends, providing technical guidance to engineering teams and top management. Manage a diverse team to navigate deep technical problem spaces. Build cross-functional partnerships and work closely with developers and product managers to identify productivity, production quality and coverage issues, and provide insight on improving both through scale and tooling. Innovate new solutions and product offerings that have the scale, complexity, and flexibility to meet the needs of a quickly evolving business landscape. Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in managing software development teams to deliver custom code, or customized package solutions.
