We offer six restaurants and lounges; 130,000 square feet of meeting space; 53 meeting rooms; over 1,300 guest rooms; the citys best fitness center; and six retail outlets.
We are currently hiring anArea Revenue Analystwho will work directly with the Area Revenue Manager to maximize hotel room revenue through the daily management of room inventory and pricing across all market segments, to include transient, group and contract business. The Analyst will gather and analyze data for distribution and pricing for guestroom accommodations to optimize revenue and profit for the hotels.
Responsibilities
+ Review / update CRS, PMS, OTA, and extranets on a daily basis in terms of room availability, rate structure, and restrictions to reflect hotel yield strategies.
+ Extract and analyze data from internal systems, business intelligence applications, and other market data in order to analyze market trends and opportunities, and draw viable/actionable business conclusions.
+ Analyze period end and other available systems data to identify trends, future need periods and obstacles to achieving goals.
+ Monitor internal forecasting / revenue management applications (IDeaS and SBRP) to ensure accuracy of information upload and forecast output.
+ Assist Revenue Manager in preparation of rooms revenue forecasts, budgets, and long range planning.
+ Assist group sales team in the evaluation of group booking requests.
+ Work closely with hotel group sales and group reservations departments to manage group blocks and room type inventory.
+ Review end of month statistics, provide critical analysis of performance and future trends.
+ Monitor and analyze weekly / monthly STAR reports.
+ Understand the working relationship between all systems related to room inventory.
+ Ensure that technical questions relating to all systems related to room inventory are escalated to the correct support destination in a timely manner
+ Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with stakeholders in the revenue management process.
+ Reporting as necessary for the purposes of analysis/feedback.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
+ Associate's or Bachelor's Degree required. (Will consider equivalency of education and experience)
+ One year hotel experience in revenue management.
+ Experience with Opera property management system preferred but not required.
+ Experience with Ideas revenue management system preferred but not required.
+ Brand experience preferred but not required.
+ Excellent grammar, speech, spelling and communication skills.
+ Excellent knowledge of computer systems.
+ Extreme accuracy with numbers.
+ Knowledge of hotel budgets preferred.
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication.
+ Strong organizational skills.
+ Relationship Management skills.
+ Role model of hospitality; contributing to a positive department and company culture.
