Summary of Responsibilities:
The Steward is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all hotel china, silverware, and cookware.This is a fast-paced position that will involve constant contact with internal and external customers. Maintain neatness, cleanliness and order of all kitchens, back of house areas, storage areas, employee dining room, compactor room, recycling area, all working carts and tables, and hand washing facilities through constant monitoring and a vigorous cleaning schedule. Assist in all areas of kitchen cleanliness, dishwashing, and silver polishing. Keep all supplies and areas of resort stocked as needed. Report any shortages to Executive Steward. Be vigilantly attentive to detail, and monitor and adhere to operating standards. Follow all standards of equipment usage and material handling. Work closely with other departments to ensure all events, resort areas, and operations are kept up to standard.

Physical Aspects of Position:
Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following: Constant standing and walking throughout shift Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
