The ideal candidate has experience in delivering impactful engagements in a number of these areas:* Cybersecurity strategy and architecture.* Risk management and compliance.* Business technology strategy and architecture.* IT optimization and delivery methodologies.We are seeking a Senior Consultant who will lead the development of innovative cybersecurity solutions as well as digital transformations.The ideal candidate has strong core management consulting skills; domain experience and expertise in government and additional industries in the above-referenced fields; and experience in working in small, highly collaborative client-focused teams. Candidates must be detail oriented and a strong team player with superior written and verbal communication skills, innate intellectual curiosity, deep analytical capabilities, and very strong project and team management skills.Responsibilities* Lead delivery of business technology engagements, especially in cybersecurity. This includes building strong relationships with client stakeholders, conducting intake interviews and client workshops, analyzing client data to evaluate client inputs, conducting assessments and gap analyses, synthesizing conclusions, and developing recommendations.* Develop cybersecurity business strategies, including conducting assessments and developing road maps.* Bring both a clear top-down architectural perspective and a solution-oriented test-and-iterate approach to solving business and technical challenges. The ability to translate tactical and operational risk to senior leadership in a clear and efficient manner is paramount.* Manage consulting project delivery teams.* Develop high-quality, well-structured, compelling, and impactful presentations and deliverables using PowerPoint and Excel.* Present findings and recommendations to clients.* Develop sample deliverables, frameworks, project plans, and associated marketing materials for repeatable consulting offerings.* Partner with Forrester sales teams and consulting colleagues to identify prospects for consulting offerings and create proposals for clients.* Establish and manage client expectations, communication, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to project commitments.* Achieve personal revenue targets on a quarterly basis.* Develop repeatable consulting offerings and tools based on our published methodologies.Qualifications* A strong academic record of achievement.* Six to 10 years of work experience in management consulting. (Relevant industry practitioner experience could account for some of the six to 10 years of work experience.)* Specific experience in cybersecurity, risk management, privacy, Zero Trust architectural models, security assessments, digital experience/cloud architectures, modern delivery methodologies, and data and analytics.* Experience in managing teams and projects.* Experience in working with government clients.* Demonstrated ability to achieve key performance metrics such as utilization rates or revenue targets.* Experience in engaging with senior-level business executives.* Experience in preparing deliverables for clients, owning and delivering finished products, taking the outputs of workshops, and creating client-facing deliverables.* Experience in working with subject matter experts with deep content knowledge.* Experience in supporting or consulting sales/business development.* Hands-on experience with US federal regulatory requirements and guidelines from FISMA to NIST 800-30, 800-37, 800-53, 800-131, and the Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).* Experience in working within the ISO 27000 framework.* Practitioner experience in one or more of these areas: software engineering, network architecture, threat analysis and incident response, and vulnerability analysis.* Strong visual communication skills demonstrated by examples of architectural diagramming.* Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.* Strong analytical capabilities.* The ability to collaborate effectively with others.* The ability to translate tactical and operational risk to senior leadership in a clear and efficient manner.* The ability to travel (approximately 10 days per month).* US citizenship.Explore #ForresterLife on:YouTubeTwitterFacebookInstagramLinkedInGlassdoorFLSA Status:ExemptForrester Research, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer that is committed to equal employment opportunity for all qualified individuals without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, genetic information, military service, veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable law.
