The Strategic Accounts Sales Engineer will assist the Strategic Account Executives in driving customer success. The role will involve long term strategic guidance for clients on how to effectively apply the Human Point System to solve evolving security challenges. This role requires the ability to quickly learn and communicate both technical and practical concepts effectively to all audience types.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategize on how best to enable accounts, position products, and coordinate various internal resources.
  • Provide guidance related to infrastructure, cloud, security, and operations
  • Installing, configuring, and demonstrating Forcepoint solutions.
  • Responsible for the technical win in the presales process as well as the ongoing success of an organization s Privileged Account Security Program.
  • Understand and establish company's product as the best solution that addresses that customer requirement and provides business value
  • Present the Forcepoint Human Point System to prospective customers
  • Present at Conferences and Seminars
  • Respond effectively to RFIs/RFPs
  • Required Experience and Skills:

  • BSCS or equivalent and 7+ years of experience as a Sales/System Engineer with proven track record and demonstrable skills at presenting technical information at the business executive level or at the architect level
  • Excellent knowledge and prior experience selling network security technologies including but not limited to Proxies, UEBA, SSL/IPSec, CASB, SSO, DLP and endpoint security
  • Demonstrable experience with systems installation, configuration and administration UNIX/Linux and Windows-based systems (prior Active Directory/LDAP experience desirable)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Bachelor s Degree (desirable)
  • Prior experience in early stage startups
