Required Security Clearance : TS//SCI with Polygraph

Required Certifications : None.

Education and Experience: 

  • Two (2) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Two (2) years of experience working in a contract environment.
  • Two (2) years of experience, or two (2) years of deploying Microsoft Windows-based servers.
  • One (1) year of experience with PC hardware troubleshooting.
  • One (1) year of experience in maintaining lab system infrastructure, including: desktop workstations, the lab computer network, server computers.
  • Functional Responsibility:

    The System Administrator will:

  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. 
  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
  • Support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
  • Support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
  • Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
  • Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, etc.
  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
  • Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
  • Qualifications:

  • US Citizen with the current clearance stated.
  • Preferences:  See Experience, preferred 3 of 5 experiences.

    Working Conditions:

    Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.

    Physical Requirements:

    May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 20 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the work day.

    Background Screening/Check/Investigation:

    Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation may be required as a condition of hire.
