The opportunity

As a member of the Financial Crimes, team youll assist global financial services firms with technology improvement in a broad range of regulatory compliance areas.Youll be assisting initiatives that provide strategic enhancement of IT systems or operational processes supporting financial crimes risk management. Youll be in a client-facing role focused on delivery of regulatory remediation, process and technology improvement, as well as delivering insights to our clients through enabling technologies in anti-money laundering (AML), sanctions and fraud.

Your key responsibilities

You will work with the team to deliver strategic enhancement of IT systems or operational processes supporting financial crimes regulatory compliance within financial services firms. You and your team will interact with clients to gain in-depth understanding of our clients unique needs and goals, as well as focus on delivery of regulatory remediation, process and technology improvement and provide insights to our clients through enabling technologies.

Skills and attributes for success

Able to work as a team with technology consultants through all phases of the project life cycle

  • Understand emerging issues, industry trends, regulations and new technologies relevant to financial crimes regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrate deep technical capabilities and professional knowledge along with the ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge
  • Leverage prior domain experience in banking and capital markets, insurance or asset management
  • Have demonstrated experience with technologies for financial crimes regulatory compliance
To qualify for the role, you must have
  • A Bachelors degree and a minimum of two years of related work experience at a financial services company or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services company; or a graduate degree and approximately one to two years of related work experience; the degree would be in any of the following: computer science, engineering, information systems, management technology, statistics or a related field
Ability and comfort level in researching client inquiries and emerging issues relating to financial crimes, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies

Valid drivers license in the US and a valid passport required

Willingness and ability to travel both nationally and internationally to meet client needs

Willingness and ability to travel up to 80%

Ideally, youll also have

Experience in one or more of the following subject areas: anti-money laundering (AML); transaction monitoring; know-your-customer (KYC) and customer due diligence (CDD); sanctions and payment screening; trading compliance within brokerage, banking and asset management; asset management compliance, surveillance and forensics; fraud employee, card, deposit, payment, mobile

Experience working with one or more technology platforms in the financial servicescompliance or financial crime domains (e.g., Nice Actimize, Oracle Mantas, Pega, Fircosoft, Safe Banking Systems, LexisNexis Bridger)

Experience working with visualization tools (e.g., Spotfire, Tableau, Qlikview)

  • Experience in one or more of the following analytical areas: machine learning, link analysis and relationship discovery systems, quantitative model development (i.e., statistical model development), data mapping and conversion using extract-transform-load (ETL) development
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: d efinition and design of business, functional and technical requirements; system selection and implementation support; systems development life cycle (SDLC); quality assurance and testing (QA); program/project management and implementation planning (PMO)
Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
