Senior Director of Product Management and Strategy, SDM The Senior Director/Director of Product Management and Strategy, Shared Decision-Making (SDM) at EBSCO Health will be responsible for day to day management of assigned shared decision making products. Responsibilities includes overseeing the lifecycle of product development, managing the editorial and development teams, and working closely with marketing, sales, support, and customers to understand current product needs and identify future product opportunities. The Shared Decision-Making PM will also participate in the ongoing development of assigned products including identification of functional and content requirements and improvements based on market and sales feedback. He/she will also manage relationships with external partners that impact assigned products. Position headquartered in Ipswich, MA. We will consider candidates across the United States with frequent travel to office locations. Primary responsibilities Work as Epic owner in a SAFe development environment and be responsible for product-centric projects and features from business case through go-to-market release Lead development of long-range plans, including detailed roadmaps of the build strategy to achieve product vision Manage prioritization and implementation of development resources within budget Serve as product??s primary liaison and representative for colleagues across EBSCO departments Sales support Marketing Support Understand the requirements of the market. Stay current on user workflow, market trends and decision maker pain points. Define and refine user and decision maker personas and use cases. Assess market competition through comparison of competitive products. Function as knowledge expert on competitive products. Provide product development support Define and cmmunicate functional requirements Prvide user acceptance testing and communicate feedback Manage respnse and resolution to customer feedback Wrk closely with advisory board members and other stakeholders to enhance the product Periodically report on development, quality and plans to stakeholders Manage other product development efforts as delegated Required Qualifications Bachelor??s degree in related field 3-5 years of direct product ownership and development 3-5 years of experience within the medical market, actively developing medical information products 3+ years of experience with software development lifecycle methodologies, specifically SAFe or Agile Experience with customer research approaches and methodologies; demonstrable involvement in 2 minor and 1 major (> 6 participants) customer research initiatives Demonstrable thorough understanding of current technologies and implementation approaches 2+ years working in a multi-tasking environment requiring the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously 2+ years of successfully working remotely 1+ year of experience with web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (3-year minimum), including Word, PowerPoint, Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrated by 2+ years developing and delivering dynamic presentations Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of experience using SDLC software (e.g. Rally, Microsoft TFS, Jira, etc.) Ability to exercise judgment to make decisions and produce content requiring minimal changes Demonstrated leadership qualities, such as initiative, strong work ethic Motivated self-learner with focus on team success Working understanding of information security regulations in the health care space (i.e., HIPAA) EBSCO Industries, Inc.is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
