Eatons Aerospace FluidElectrical Distribution division is currently seeking a Product Sales Manager tojoin our team.This position is a field based position the ideal candidate for the role willbe based out of the greater Hartford, New York City, Providence, or Bostonareas.

TheProduct Sales Manager role is responsible for establishing and maintainingstrong customer relationships and leading growth opportunities through thestages of the selling cycle. This process requires application of value sellingand PROLaunch tools with particular emphasis on developing winning capturestrategies and selling value for Conveyance and Ducting & Sealing products.This PSM position will focus on commercial and military opportunities insupport of the Fluid and Electrical Distribution growth strategies in theNortheast Region of the U.S. focused on New York, Pennsylvania, and the greaterNew England area.

In this function you will:
  • Develop and maintainsound customer relationships

  • Ensure that the newbusiness pipeline is healthy with an emphasis on sales for the Conveyance andDucting & Sealing products. Leverages extended resources to identify andexecute new business opportunities

  • Apply PROLaunch andvalue cycle tools in the new business capture processes. The PSM leads captureteams with support from the Proposal Manager throughout the business captureprocess. The PSM will work with the capture team to develop proposals andpresent the Eaton value proposition to the customer as required

  • Work with the ProductManager, Division Sales Manager and finance resources to develop opportunitybusiness cases utilizing the NBR tool

  • Establish andmaintain a customer communication plan, including customer site visits

  • Work closely with theRegional and Customer Account teams

  • Support thedevelopment of market trend/dynamics analyses and how they impact intakeperformance

  • Develop and executeaction plans to ensure intake goals are achieved and plant health metrics areGreen

  • Support the strategicplanning process through understanding and effective communication of customerneeds

  • Support thedevelopment of customer needs analysis as required

  • Maintain a thoroughknowledge of the product portfolio, new technology needs and future applicationrequirements

  • Maintain a currentknowledge of competitors products and identifies strengths and weaknessescompared to Eaton Aerospace products.

  • Support the demandaspect of the SIOP process and is an active participant in all necessary phasesof the process

  • Assess currentpractices for continuous process improvements.

    Qualifications

    Required (Basic)Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degreefrom an accredited institution required.

  • Minimum three (3)years of experience in an Aerospace customer-facing role.

  • This positionrequires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to theInternational Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S.persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S.Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder), have been grantedPolitical Asylum, or Refugee.

  • Must be authorized towork in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

  • No relocation isoffered for this position. Allcandidates must currently reside in the greater Hartford, New York City,Providence, or Boston areas to be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from thegeographical area limitation.

  • PreferredQualifications:

  • Bachelors degree inEngineering from an accredited institution required.

  • 5+ years ofexperience in an Aerospace customer-facing role.

  • Strong Customerinterface skills. Ability to uncover customer needs and translate into winningcapture strategies and value propositions.

  • Strong BusinessAcumen must understand market and customer trends, customer needs and impacton future product development programs, new business case financials.

  • Good workingknowledge of OEM and military procurement processes and be capable ofdeveloping and managing relationships with appropriate personnel.

  • Knowledge of FEDfluid conveyance and sensing systems and products, and product applications onthe aircraft.

  • Strong presentationand written communication skills.

  • Strong datamanagement skills.

  • Effective in a matrixmanagement environment.
