Together, we will deliver great food and great service, every time, to every one of our guests at every one of our restaurants.Responsible for the preparation of appetizers, sandwiches, calzones, pizza, grilled and pasta dishes according to Bertucci's specifications. Primary responsibilities: Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:Knowledgeable in all behind-the-line areas so that scheduling is more flexibleFood rotation, set-up and break-down, stocking wood, presentation of products, and cleaning utensils and general work areaPrepare food accurately and in a timely mannerEnsure temperature of ovens, coolers and freezers are accurateInspect stock levels and review prep sheets with the manager to establish daily prep listStores, unpacks, and retrieves food items in the appropriate area of storageMonitors and reports malfunctioning of equipment by arranging each item appropriately in a sound working orderPrepares food products according to safety policies as designated. Demonstrates correct use of food service equipment and utensils and wipes up spills on counter and floor as necessary in order to prevent falls Maintains sanitary work area as defined by State Health Department standards by cleaning food service equipment and utensils as necessary throughout preparation of food itemsWipes immediate work area as necessary after preparation of foot itemsPosition Requirements:Must be at least 18 years oldCommitment to high standardsAbility to work well under pressureAbility to remain standing and active for a 9 hour shiftAbility to work in extreme temperaturesSome heavy lifting (50lbs)Ability to perform basic math functions and measurementsBenefits:Great payFlexible SchedulesMedical & Dental InsuranceShort Term Disability InsuranceVision Care ProgramPaid VacationDirect DepositTuition AssistanceMeal DiscountsBertuccis is an equal opportunity employer.
