The Supply Chain Associate will work directly alongside the Supply Associate Manager to provide the Supply team with data-driven insights. Through daily, weekly, and one-off analyses, the Associate will be deeply knowledgeable about purchasing stats, menu changes, food costs, dish performance, and supply chain technology. This role will identify opportunities for savings, creative solutions, and assist the team in execution.
This position requires strong detail orientation and analytical skills, as well as the ability to think high level and strategically. The Associate will utilize strong communication and presentation skills to collaboratively solve problems. They will work to support the full Supply Team in its goals to source with integrity, drive financial results, and build effective systems as Dig grows into new markets.
* Improve and maintain food and beverage purchase history data, run usage reports, and plan projections as Dig scales. * Conduct weekly analysis on how dishes perform within our restaurants. * Assist in building out supply and menu dashboards on our business intelligence platform. * Conduct weekly food cost reporting to highlight cost trends across restaurants, seasons, dishes, ingredients and identify savings opportunities. * Work closely with our tech partners to improve their features and drive business results. * Prepare presentations on our menu changes, including both performance recaps and outlooks for upcoming transitions.
* 1-3+ years of work experience in a highly analytical and strategic role. * A knack for the details. You are highly organized at all times. * The ability to think creatively to solve problems - you are not intimidated by complexity. * Expertise in Excel and Powerpoint. * A love for numbers - you can sift through qualitative and quantitative data and build analyses. * A proven ability to be able to work with multiple departments with many moving parts and demonstrating strong communication skills. * A strong work ethic, ability to work autonomously and self-sufficiently. * Passion for sustainable food systems and a strong desire to make an impact. * A proficiency in Spanish a plus.
