Job Description :Job title: DIRECTOR, CONTROLS, COMPLIANCE & ETHICSBand level: 4PurposeThe Director Controls, Compliance & Ethics (C,C &E) has accountability for leading, driving and embedding the Controls, Compliance & Ethics agenda across Diageo North America (DNA). This role will also be accountable for the integration of DNA's Financial Controls and Compliance & Ethics programs over the short term as we bring these programs together.Key accountabilities include:* Leads and embeds Diageo North America's Controls, Compliance & Ethics agenda to ensure universal understanding, awareness and compliance* Works thru direct reports and team of 20+ Ambassadors to embed the CC&E agenda* Drives and owns the financial controls agenda including all SOX and CARM implementation activities* Builds organization capability and understanding in the financial controls and compliance areas* Chairs the Diageo Risk Management committee and manages DNA risk management process* Drives decision making across strategic business initiatives* Operates with credibility at highest level of organization - a seasoned leader who can be the organizational steward of the CC&E change agenda across a $5B business* Builds a high performing team, providing coaching and development to build capabilitiesKey Stakeholders:* CFO, Diageo North America* Diageo North America Exec members on key CC&E implementation activities* Global CC&E team* NA Finance Leadership Team* Wider NA Controller teamFinancial Responsibility/Decision Making:While the role does not have direct financial responsibility, it has ownership and leadership of critical DNA wide controls and compliance functions across a $5B businessManagement Responsibility* Reports to directly to President, Diageo North America* Key business partner to business leadership teams* Three (3) direct reports* Member of Financial Leadership Team & Controller's Leadership Team* Key linkages to global CC&E team and Global Shared Service team based in BudapestExperience* 10+ years' experience* A specialist expert with strong business acumen - CPA or MBA preferred* Extensive experience in development, assessment and implementation of business controls and policies* Demonstrated ability to lead, drive and embed change through ambiguity and across large multi layered matrix organization* Great coach, people manager and a developing high impact inspirational leaderWorker Type :RegularPrimary Location:New York 530 5th AveAdditional Locations :Job Posting Start Date :2019-09-30-07:00
