We can't wait for you to discover this for yourself as a FieldCTO on our team.Key Responsibilities* Successfully builds and maintains relationships with key customer decision makers and influencers: from CxO level to enterprise architects, application development teams and senior management in operations and engineering. Specifically focused on SLED (State, Local government, Education)* Successfully builds and maintains relationships with the account team and partners in support of sales team objectives.* Provides technical leadership and direction to customer and internal staff.* Researches and communicates technology, industry and market trends to internal and external customers.* Provides guidance and feedback on customers application(s), state and asks of business requirements back into Dell EMC's engineering and marketing organizations.* Researches competitive frameworks and solutions to effectively address and dispel customer objections that arise in a sales campaign.* Presents and markets the technical design and business value of proposed Dell EMC solution and business case to customers, prospects and Dell EMC management.* Qualifies sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding.* Performs enablement to internal presales and sales teams on industry trends and disruptions supporting their GTM success and relevance to customers.Essential Requirements* Specific experience around or focused on SLED (State, Local government, Education)* Demonstration of Leadership* Executive Presence and Soft skills* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Depth of Industry Context and Solutions knowledge* Understanding of Business Process and Digital Disruption* Understands Corporate Finance* Team Player, Force Multiplier, Enabler* Role Model and MentorDesirable Requirements* Prior C-Suite Level Experience* Experience operating in a highly matrixed environmentCompany DescriptionWith more than 100,000 team members globally, we promote an environment that is rooted in the entrepreneurial spirit in which the company was founded.
