Oracle WebLogic/Fusion Middleware Administrator ? General job duties: ?
Oracle WebLogic/fusion middleware administrator must interface with Database Administrators (DBAs), Application Administrators (AA), third-party system administrators, and the end-user community.? College-level communications skills, being able to communicate clearly, both orally and with written communications.
Minimum of a bachelor?s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Computer Science is required. A minimum of 5 years of Weblogic/Fusion Middleware administration (including installations and configurations).
Prefer combined experience as DBA Products OID/OAM/SSO, and preferred OBIEE, Grid. Prefer Oracle certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) and Oracle Certified Master (OCM).
The Oracle middleware candidate must also have a good understanding of related technologies, especially Java (JDeveloper, J2EE, Apache).? Candidates MUST be a US Citizen and be willing to obtain an ADP I or ADP II clearance. Candidates MUST have or be able to obtain a Security+ certification.

Installing and patching:??Installation, configuration and tuning of fusion middleware, WebLogic environments. Conduct Troubleshooting:??Work with the Application server DBA and Oracle DBA to resolve application problems. Perform Migrations:??Migrate code between test, Quality Assurance (QA) and production environments. Create Configuration:? Configuration of Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) and Single Sign On (SSO) for fusion middleware and fusion middleware based products such as Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), E-Business Suite (EBS), Grid (aka Cloud Control). Perform Tuning:??Tuning of fusion middleware, (Products include: OBIEE, BI Publisher, Grid, Oracle Internet Directory (OID), Oracle Access Manager (OAM)/SSO, EBS).? Develops standards and tuning metrics and alert thresholds.? Oversee QA:?Review proposed changes and test them in a test and QA environment. Create Documentation:??Develops a complete set of fusion middleware documentation describing the current configuration of fusion middleware, (Products include: OBIEE, BI Publisher, Grid, OID, OAM/SSO, EBS). Develop Best Practices:??Attends conferences and gathers fusion middleware best practices and standards for tested implementation. UNIX:??Must have a functional knowledge of UNIX shell scripting including vi and file management commands.? Solaris and RHEL specifically.

OBIEE:??Knowledge of legacy migrations from 10g, 11g to 12C.
BIP Dashboards & Analytics Decommissioning and clean-up of legacy implementations.
OFF:??General knowledge of EBS/Oracle Federal Financials (OFF) 12.1.3 with migration experience to 12.2.X.?
Apache to WebLogic migrations. OID, OAM/SSO
OID: Knowledge of 18.104.22.168 and migration experience to 12C, to support OFF 12.2.X & OBIEE 12C. OAM/SSO: Knowledge of 22.214.171.124 and migration experience to 12C, to support OFF 12.2.X. GRID: Knowledge of 126.96.36.199 and migration experience to 188.8.131.52 on WebLogic 12C.
