The Director of Community Behavioral Services provides direction, leadership and oversight in the community based service operations within the behavioral health division. The Director will ensure provision of high quality services that are delivered in a fiscally responsible manner in accordance with our mission, vision and values, and assist in facilitating access to care and elimination of barriers to care. Responsibilities include planning and developing goals and objectives in collaboration with other team members that are consistent with the hospital mission, vision and values. Develops, administers and coordinates department policies and procedures, and hospital policies as indicated Assists in development and maintaining of budgets and monitors expenditures in collaboration with the business manager Develops implements and maintains ongoing quality assurance Manages personnel and supervision of personnel, in collaboration with community based team members, managers and partners Serves on or participates in various committees and meetings as required and appointed Maintains close working relationship with collaborating agencies to assure that services are obtainable and implemented as needed. Assess evolving needs through collaboration. Required: Doctorate or Master’s degree in human services field (health care, psychology, social work, education, counseling) from accredited educational institution, Ohio Licensure in field, Supervisory designation as required. 3+ years of healthcare experience. Preferred: 5 + years supervisory experience, Community health experience. 1.   Administrative Planning and developing goals and objectives and ensuring effective implementation and execution of those goals Development and coordination of department, hospital and collaborative policies Assists in development and maintenance of funding including seeking funding support through grants and partnerships Implements and maintains quality assurance within and across partnerships 2.   Personnel Manages personnel in the community service division including recruitment, selection, orientation, counseling, evaluation and discipline as indicated Collaborates with managers and supervisors within the department, and oversees their administrative responsibilities 3.   Clinical Maintains licensure and continuing education requirements Providers clinical care to assist with coverage and to maintaining clinical skills of assessment, intervention and care management Performs other duties as assigned
